Also composing for some other projects here in LA – before returning to the UK for a long old while

This photo was from one of my earliest trips to LA (my 2nd I think in 2007) with one of the first people / friends who was one of many ‘hostesses with the mostesses’ during these early jaunts ‘… this guy booked me my first gig at the Hotel Cafe - introduced me to Tegan (Tegan and Sara) – who I then had the joy of supporting in the UK during their ‘The Con’ tour

Also got to see Beck and was introduced to a bunch of other inspirational music (!!!, arcade fire, the walkmen) The only thing I offered up in return was some yard duty and to tyvek his shed ;-p

American coffee – cigarettes – lowriders – cruisers – rambles along LA river looking out for a T1000 – shepard fairey hangs – chateau marmont hangs

Seems like just this morning …. mmm …. well …. yesterday at the latest

A long time ago in a galaxy not too far away – Wales  _ myself and my sister (who was now old enough to babysit me – not very responsibly I hasten to add) stayed in / were forced to stay in while my parents went raving …. with some chinese food (including but not limited too – crispy beef, lemon chicken and the ubiquitous Welsh delicacy - sweet and sour cat) we watched a film of our juvenile and miscalculated choosing ….

That film _ oh THAT film _(which we were led to believe was a romantic comedy) was ‘The Hand that rocked the cradle’ which (apart from featuring Winston Zeddemore of Ghostbusters fame) as a slightly ‘synapse-short’ garden assistant – also included the most psychopathic bitch ever to roll-out of our betamax VCR ….

Rebecca De Mornay – a real freaking mentalist ….

Who went on a killing spree – and then some – in glass houses – to name but a few death scenarios (RIP Julianne Moore – egad _ good work in the afterlife with ‘Game Change’) to revenge the death of her overly tactile, gynecologist husband …. (i think)

But thanks to those balcony wind chimes, and the fine eye of Miss Moore _ she got her comeuppance (i think)

It brings me great pleasure to announce that the husband of the asthmatic heroine in this damn fine thriller – who was mauled in the basement by the psycho bitch … is … alive and well and well …. beautiful (i know for a fact)

Mister Matt Mccoy (lacking his wondrous facial hair of former years) swung by today to do a VO for a project that one Mr Patrick Wall is in the process of completing

He signed my poster (that I kept for 19.8 years) and told me to watch ‘Carnival’ and ‘Seinfeld’

This easily beats the time I had a thumb war with Joe Biden

Today _ I predict _ the next great movement in transport _ will be _ the _ roller skate
